Standards of Care

The following serve as the standards of care that are the foundation of all services provided by Guava SHHS™. They represent more than a mere set of rules of conduct. These are the principles from which Guava SHHS™, Inc. emanate.

  • People First Services. Client satisfaction is paramount here at Guava SHHS™. We aim to ensure that your needs remain at the forefront of our service delivery model.
  • Individualism. Guava SHHS™ recognizes that the client’s needs are unique. Services and supports are tailored to fit each person specifically.
  • Confidentiality. Guava SHHS™ employees are invited into the homes and personal lives of families in need of care and support. All information that is shared with the Guava SHHS™ team is done so that we may be most effective in our roles as members of a care giving team. We understand that it is vital that confidentiality be maintained. The only justification of a breech in this covenant is in the instance where it is believed that our client is in danger and to not breech confidentiality will be harmful to that individual. We pledge to use discretion in this case and to only share information with other professionals in order to ensure the safety of our client.
  • Commitment to Quality. We demonstrate our loyalty to clients, their families, our employer and colleagues by our effectiveness in delivering quality services and supports. Guava SHHS™ puts quality first and it remains the standard of care that is unwavering and without compromise.  Guava SHHS™ team members will not abuse, exploit or neglect any client in their care.

Guava SHHS™ charges all of its employees with the task of being diligent in their service delivery methods, acting responsibly and demonstrating care at all times.
  • Code of Ethics. Guava SHHS™ understands that the relationship between caregiver and care recipient and his/her family is a very close and most intimate connection that is founded upon the principle of trust. We honor your right to privacy and will work to ensure that it is always maintained.
